Diagnosis and renovation of old structures

We also carry out diagnoses and expert assessments of existing and old structures. Our assignments include:

• Site visit(s) to assess the structures and their defects.
• Survey of the structures, sections, spacings, heights, connections, etc… of the timber frames. Any exploratory probing is carried out by a specialist company.
• Structural and condition diagnosis of the timber structures.
• Photographic report.
• Definition of load and stability assumptions
• Determination of the load-bearing capacity of the timber frames, in accordance with current standards.
• Consideration of additional loads in the event of changes to roof, floor or wall build-ups.
• Design of any necessary reinforcements.
• Preparation of a diagnosis report and calculation notes
